One of my favorite Italian restaurants here in Manila is Pasto. I frequent the one located in Eastwood City. I just love, love their pasta and their crostini!

My fave pasta from Pasto is Frutti di Mare. It’s linguine with assorted seafood in an olive OH-white wine reduction. I love this one so much! I can eat this for 5 days straight! Love it! I love the taste and the mixture of seafoods. For Php235, so worth it!
For more dishes from Pasto, you can check out their menu here.

As soon as December comes in, expect different kinds of ham to be sold in the supermarket. But the one I like the most is the sweet ham or the Christmas ham as we call it at home. My sister’s ex-boyfriend would give us a home-made sweet ham by his mom. This was our all-time favorite. Except of course, now, we don’t get a supply of it during Christmas anymore
What kind of ham do you like?

According to Wikipedia:
Edam is a Dutch cheese that is traditionally sold as spheres with pale yellow interior and a coat of paraffin. Its Spanish name is queso de bola, literally “ball cheese.”
I don’t eat that much Queso de Bola because I find it too salty. But when mixed in a salad, I love it! My dad and my sister eat it as is. Or on top of plain crackers.
How about you, how do you eat your Queso de Bola?
