Panini

This is a fave and a must-have when you eat at Jack’s Loft. Jack Loft’s Chicken Salad Panini. There are whole grapes in the chicken salad served between split foccaccia. Yum!

I had my sisters try this one and they liked it instantly. The foccaccia is absolutely delicious and it made the chicken salad more yummy. Try it and you’ll surely love it.

pecanbon

I am currently craving for Cinnabon’s Pecanbon. Just the small one. Dripping with caramel. Yum!

Pecanbon was introduced to me by a co-manager in the call center I worked for. She asked a favor from me and when she came back from a meeting at Robinson’s Galleria in Ortigas Center, she brought a Pecanbon for me. She’s been telling me that it’s her fave and she wanted me to taste it.

From then on, I was hooked!

When my mom was still alive, she would cook one big meal for lunch and the leftover will serve as our dinner. That’s how it was always. But, of course, we had a say as to what we would like to eat for lunch so that we’d still like to eat it at night. This saved us not only of electricity costs but also made sure my mom had time for other chores at home while we’re still in school.

I don’t know if your mom does this as well. Worked for my family. And gave us more time with her at night, to talk about the day, to help us with school work and so on.

Let me tell you something about this blog’s header. Have you noticed it? This blog is obviously, all about food. I’m a foodie. I may not be a good cook (I hardly cook! Yay!), but I know how to appreciate a good dish. I am also a creature of habit. If I like this food, you can expect me to eat it again and again.

Thus, my header.

I love Pancit Canton (Sauteed Noodle Dish). I can eat that for breakfast, snacks or dinner. I love eating pancit with white bread. It is one of my favorite Chinese dishes!

Who doesn’t love Adobo? CPA or Chicken Pork Adobo is one of the most common viands here in the Philippines. It has various ways of being cooked. Some make it a bit spicy like my dad, or sweet, or a bit sour. Whichever way it is cooked, I will still eat it with rice.

Tosilog or Tocino, Sinangag and Itlog. A favorite served during breakfast. At home, I always make sure there is a pack of tocino because it is an alternative for me if and when I don’t like the viand served at lunch.

Yum, yum! Makes me hungry just by looking at my header. Does it have the same effect on you?
