Jolina Magdangal emerged in today’s SOP looking very much like a pathetic copy-cat of Lady Gaga. Who the hell told her to do such a thing??? Doesn’t she know she’s looking like her old jologs self? The one from her Marvin Agustin days when she went lukring with those colored hair clip-ons and butterflies?

Somebody tell this person to STOP making herself look pathetic! She shouldn’t have gone this route. Come on! Lady Gaga??? Who can really pull it off, right? ONLY LADY GAGA! Nobody else! First off, Jolina’s too short. She still looks like a teenager in some angles even if everybody knows she’s not anymore. Secondly, she really isn’t that much of a good singer and dancer. What was her last hit song, anyway? Right. Nobody remembers. If there’s one, it’s well over a decade ago! Lastly, she should have considered who her fans are. Will they really like her looking like that? Can she look the part every time she is in public or will she be back to her old self if she’s not promoting her new album (entitled Jolie, by the way. Eeek!)? Does she think her new image will stick in everyone’s mind? Will the viewing public take her seriously or will she just get a lot of ridicule from it?

Personally, I think she will forever be jologs. And in my opinion, she should have thought going acoustic, for example. Or like stick to singing love songs. Because that’s her area. Plus, there’s a large market for acoustic singers now. Hello, Aiza Seguerra and Juris Fernandez! Should have thought of that.

Jolina should fire whoever conceptualized this poor Lady Gaga impersonation ASAP!

I am not really a big fan of Angel Locsin before when she was still a Kapuso. I felt as if her acting was lame. Plus the fact that we didn’t hear that much about her personal life there except all those guys drooling after her.

Then she became a Kapamilya and was given the treatment that her status deserves. Di na jologs like she used to be in the other network. Nothing really impressive happened. She was paired with Piolo Pascual and their chemistry was pilit. Lobo wasn’t as big as it was promoted to be. But she got the nod of the critics. Was even nominated for an International Emmy. Her acting improved!

And she became more human in the eyes of her non-fans like me. It was during the onslaught of Ondoy that we really got to see the Angel Locsin. I am hearing things about her humanitarian work in Mindanao but with the evidence shown on national TV of her distributing relief goods herself in areas affected by Ondoy…

I am a follower of Angel Locsin in Twitter. I just read her tweets about her call for blood donation for the Philippine National Red Cross. She’s really serious about being socially active. I hope the United Nations will make her an Ambassadress of Goodwill much like what happened to Angelina Jolie. Personally, I think she deserves it more than Angelina does

Everybody’s talking about that nude photo of ex-PBB housemate and Eula Valdez‘ boyfriend, Rocky Salumbides. Have you seen it already? I did!

Rocky is an international ramp model reportedly the first Filipino contract model of the prestigious Ford modeling agency in New York. Why he left the modeling scene is a big question mark for me. He also has graced catwalks in Milan, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, and China, to name a few.

And then he joined Pinoy Big Brother Double Up in ABS-CBN where he cried buckets saying on national TV that he missed his girlfriend, actress Eula Valdez. Because of that scene he created where he voluntary exited the PBB house, he became a bit more popular in the country. That’s why his now infamous naked photo is creating waves on the net.

If you ask me, he’s more handsome with his clothes on!

Is there anyone else surprised by the rumors circulating that Krista Ranillo, the starlet attaching herself like leech to Manny Pacquiao, is pregnant???

Of course she will do everything in her power to stay attached to the pound-for-pound king! Besides the instant popularity, albeit caused by negative reactions from different sectors, there’s also the fortune should a lovechild be born out of their illicit affair!

So if you ask me, and most Filipinos following this Pacquiao drama, it comes as no surprise that she’s reportedly pregnant. Malamang totoo!

China Cojuangco replaced Chef Aileen Anastacio of My Favorite Recipes in QTV 11. They’re both OK and better than Quickfire’s Rosebud Benitez. I just noticed, after watching a couple of China’s segments, that her favorite word is “actually”. She kept on saying it again and again. Sometimes, twice in a sentence!

Someone should give her pointers. Chef Aileen was really good in her spiels. I don’t know if each cooking segment is an ad lib but they better give China something to work on her spiels. Or bring Chef Aileen back!

Happy birthday, Demi Lovato! She’s a favorite of our little girl. Anyway, I was reading PerezHilton.com (as usual) when I saw his post about Demi’s cake. Want to see what it looked like?

Someone must have smashed up the cake or something. And the candle is hilarious!
