Here is LINK to the official news from ABS-CBNNews.com…

And here is the official statement of Kris Aquino on the issue via Biboy Arboleda’s blog dated March 8, 2010.

I had dinner with Noy tonight after his tv commercial shoot. He told me di raw ba pwede na may quiet Sunday kami? And he asked why sya nadamay when he’s not even part of the Buzz. I would like to extend a loving hug to Ruffa. I viewed the tape and although I still feel I gave my comment with affection. Maybe it made her feel even worse because she’s moving in a new direction.

We had what I believed was a good working relationship in the almost 2 years we were together on the Buzz. I can also understand why Ruffa’s mom dislikes Noynoy and my family. Maybe because of association and our vocal proclamation of admiration for Dingdong. And his selfless contribution to help Noy’s presidential bid.

It is with Ruffa that I enjoyed a healthy working relationship with. And I only have good words to say about her.

To Ruffa, I sincerely apologize for causing you hurt.

My brother Noynoy would like to add that we live in a democracy. One where we are very free to make our own choice for president. This text came from my sister Pinky : Tomorrow is Women’s day. And March is women’s month. Fyi, it was mom who passed laws making this possible. (Proclamation No. 224 and 227, both signed in March 1988). And RA 6949 (signed April 1990 – declares March 8 as National Women’s Day. We celebrate women who triumphed despite odds and need to look at ways to further improve.

That’s why I want Ruffa to have a great career ahead of her because she is a woman. Raising two beautiful daughters, and I champion all women who triumph despite the odds. Just like my own mom.

Noy told me in any election, we’ll have our share of supporters and harshest critics. And if you can’t take the heat, then politics isn’t for you.

As a woman, and as Ruffa’s mom and the lola of Lorin and Venice, I respect you Tita Anabelle. And on behalf of our family, I apologize for the distress we caused yours. Hindi po ako mayabang, kaya ako nagpapakumbaba ngayon.

On a last note, I promised Noy that if he does WIN, and I’m a cause of stress for him and his presidency.. I will gladly take my two boys to live anywhere there’s TFC. So that I can continue to work but with our Overseas Filipino brothers and sisters. Of course Noy said – dinner daw yun – hindi teleserye ko.

I love my family and I’m so grateful to have such a supportive and grounded brother and sisters, who have learned to love me for what I am.

Who now emerges as the one with more breeding?

I am a regular viewer of The Buzz every Sunday. I like it better than Showbiz Central with the emoterang Pia Guanio and the stupid Booba Rufa Mae Quinto. Anyway, I was watching it yesterday and I saw the segment where Kris Aquino teased Ruffa Gutierrez good-naturedly that it’s so much fun in ABS-CBN than anywhere else. Of course, Kris was referring to Ruffa’s transfer to TV5. Ruffa was obviously annoyed by it. She was teary-eyed albeit smiling when she told Kris that she knows and that Kris should stop rubbing it in.

I must admit that I find Kris totally annoying! But then the incident that caused a humongous issue now should not actually be seen as such. Ang babaw! Ruffa overreacted to Kris’ teasing, that’s all. It should never have made headlines if not for Annabelle Rama giving an interview to Showbiz Central right away. As usual, she lost control of her mouth again. Watch (or listen is more appropriate) the interview below…

This was her reaction to Ruffa walking out of The Buzz because the latter was miffed over Kris’ teasing. You can watch the root cause of this issue below…

Did Kris say something wrong? My opinion is NO. It was done affectionately. Ruffa was probably sensitive that time the teasing was done or feeling bad already that she’s leaving the show. Who knows. But the reaction was OA for me.

Now, tell me, is it right for Annabelle Rama to react that way? Sure, she felt like her daughter was bullied. I can understand as much. But to drag Noynoy Aquino into the controversy when the man clearly has nothing to do with what happened… it makes me wonder what’s up with this whole issue. It is common knowledge that the Gutierrez family minus Ruffa (who’s Team Noynoy pa rin daw according to her) is endorsing Manny Villar. Is Annabelle Rama going to collect some big fat check after she cleverly found a way to campaign against Noynoy via this beef she has with Kris? Will Ruffa sing a different tune now that she’s no longer working with Kris? Another fat check perhaps from Villar for Ruffa changing colors from yellow to orange? Makes you wonder…

Politics aside, Kris can be a bully, sure. Ruffa probably couldn’t take it anymore like what Mo said in his blog entry (who by the way is so glad about what happened, could not contain his glee!). Probably miffed up to neck with week after week of power tripping by Kris (allegedly as said by Annabelle over her Showbiz Central interview). But the incident was just blown out of proportion! Annabelle Rama should never have dragged Noynoy into the controversy because the man has nothing to do with it. To campaign against him when that the issue was only between her daughter and Kris is clearly motivated by something else.

Watch the videos and you be the judge.

Remember Robert Pattinson’s signature messy locks?

Yum!

Ah, yes! I do remember it, too! And how much I want to run my fingers in it. Even though he said that he’s not washing it. Still, I am in love with those locks.

But now…

Eeek

Eeek!!!

Whoever told the guy to do this to his hair? Wet, flat, oily-looking… Rob went to the BAFTAs and hit the red carpet with this new ‘do. I wonder why he is so averse to the things that his fans love in him.

RPatz, bring back your tousled ‘do!

GLEE-Obama

There is something off about the Obamas love for everything entertainment. Oprah, the Jonas Brothers, Beyonce, those inaugural performances, the private meets with some other stars. And now the cast of GLEE! It is being reported that the cast of the hit FOX show GLEE is being invited by the First Lady Michelle Obama to perform at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday, April 5.

I understand they might be one of the millions of fans of the show. But I just really find it off that they are seemingly more concerned with what’s “in” in Hollywood than on other more important matters. Have you noticed it?

That’s my opinion, anyway.

Someone asked me if this will be just an entertainment blog. My answer is NO. There will be more to this blog than just entertainment news. Although the chismosa in me really comes out whenever I read the news, there are also other topics I would like to start here. My love for music, for example. The concerts and gigs I’ve been to. The bars and concert venues. The movies I am raving about. Etcetera.

Expect a lot more from this blog. That’s why it is called Just About Everything.

Yes!
